Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing will be heading the Chinese delegation to attend the 59th UN General Assembly held in New York from September 26 to 30.

During the sessions, Minister Li will make speeches during the general debate, illustrating the view and position of the Chinese Government on current international situation and main issues. Li will also hold a serious of bilateral and multilateral activities including meeting with Secretary-General Anan of the UN, some heads of state and foreign ministers as well as holding negotiations with foreign ministers from the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Rio Group.
