Xi Jinping Leaves Beijing for State Visits to Russian Federation and Federal Republic of Germany and Attendance at 12th G20 Summit

On the morning of July 3, 2017, President Xi Jinping left Beijing by special plane for state visits to Russia and Germany at the invitations of President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, and the attendance at the 12th G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany, at the invitation of Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany.

Members of Xi Jinping's delegation include his wife Mme. Peng Liyuan, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee Wang Huning, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier Wang Yang, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee Li Zhanshu, State Councilor Yang Jiechi, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Governor of the People's Bank of China Zhou Xiaochuan and others.
