On December 3, Chinese Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Wang Guangya received a joint interview given by French Televisions and Le Monde. During the interview, Ambassador Wang expounded Chinese Government's positions and policies on the Iraqi issue as well as China's role both within and out of the Security Council of the United Nations since the September 11 event.
